The Little Learners Pre-Dance class for 3 and 4 year olds will meet on Mondays from 5:15 to 5:45. The class tuition is $28 per month and is due the first Monday of every month. The class will follow the Sumter County School System calendar; having the same holidays and breaks as the Wildwood area students. Forms of dances learned will include tap, ballet, and jazz. Class dress code is ballet shoes, tap shoes and comfortable clothes to move in. Students are encouraged to wear tights and a leotard; however anything comfortable is acceptable. Parents are welcome to stay and watch during class. Two weeks notice is appreciated upon leaving the class. 

GOAL OF THE CLASS

The goal of the class is to teach your child basic ballet, jazz, and tap movements while making it fun and preparing them for advanced classes. This will best be accomplished by learning to follow directions, recognize rhythm, and increase coordination. We will also be doing learning songs such as alphabet/sounds and counting songs.  This class will be a good foundation for your child to build upon should he/she want to take a more advanced class when older.

INFORMATION ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR

My name is Kiley Cole and I live here locally in Wildwood. I am originally from Georgia and took dancing from age 4-18, of which the last four years I was employed as an assistant instuctor.  I am currently employed at Lake Panasoffkee Elementary as a K, 1^st and 2^nd Grade Reading teacher. I have been a teacher for 5 years and have taught Kindergarten for all five years.  I love children and I love to teach. Teaching dancing is a hobby that is fun and non-stressful! I look forward to helping your child blossom into someone who loves music and loves to dance just as much as I do.
